James Reinertsen, M.D., head of The Reinertsen Group, will host a half-day hospital Trustee Workshop on November 4, 2016, in conjunction with the VHHA Fall Meeting. As health care payment, models for accountability, and the drive for improved outcomes and costs shift the delivery system’s strategic agenda, the need for strong boards is even more imperative. This workshop will focus on the key elements of a high-performing board, the board competencies that health care reform and payment change introduces, and provide discussion on improving a board’s performance to ensure organizational success in the new world of health care. Hospital trustees are encouraged to attend in teams to get the most out of this interactive workshop. You can sign up for this workshop when you register for the annual meeting at a later date.
This is a great opportunity to gather members of your board off-site and perhaps even stay through the weekend for fellowship in the retreat-like setting at the Homestead.
